Well Nintendo owns the Ms so to the extent that they are Foreign nationals I am not sure they can give to a political campaign

Chris Larson is the only one I know in the ownership group. Although Howard Lincoln might have a small Chunk as well.

Looks like Chris Larson supported Dodd. He also gave some money to the MLB PAC. Howard Lincoln supported M-PAC, but I have no idea what that is.

I don't think Howard owns any of the team himself; if he does, it's not significant. He works for Nintendo of America, and is the CEO, representing NOA in the executive office. Larson heads a group of local minority owners, and has recently been rumored to be trying to buy Nintendo's shares from them.

Larson's supported Dodd. He's given a ton to the "Office of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball Political Action Committee", though, which is more about preserving their anti-trust exemption than any particular candidate. But he's a Democrat.

M-Pac, Lincoln's political donee, is a bit of a mystery, but they dole out money exclusively to Democrats, most recently $10,000 to Al Franken: http://www.campaignmoney.com/political/committees/m-pac.asp?cycle=08

Wait, here it is: M-Pac is Patty Murray's leadership PAC.

According to opensecrets.org, Charles Armstrong, Mariner President, has donated entirely to Republicans, including Dave Reichert, Mike McGavick, Dubya and the Republican Parties of Ohio and Florida.

Actually, my son owns 98 shares of Nintendo, and I own 202 shares (we split a 300 share lot, based on his grades), so if Nintendo contributes to McSame, I'm going to do a shareholder resolution to stop that!

My sentiments exactly. If a billionaire DIDN'T vote republican, I'd be surprised.

Even liberal billionaires would probably rather give their money to charities and social programs of their own choice rather than let the government choose where their taxes go.
