Cindy's lawyer's statement is a transparent and not very effective attempt to deflect attention away from the devastating story on her in the NYT today. It makes me wonder, who is McCain really fucking? Because it's sure as hell not her. They live separately and vacation separately, and have for their entire marriage. No wonder she takes pills.

Most unappealing of all, though, is her Princess Di fixation. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

The FBI should investigate Obama's homosexual dalliances, as well as his deep associations with Muslims in America and abroad. And if the leftist/Marxist media had any integrity, they would have long exposed his plot to convert our children to homosexuality.

I am so glad that so many Democrats have the courage and loyalty to country to vote their conscience in this election and vote for Senator McCain and Gov. Palin. They stand for smaller government, lower taxes and job creation a strong military and homeland security. Barack Hussein Osama is a weak candidate with no record of accomplishing anything except voting for the Global Initiative which gives the UN millions of our tax dollars to fight poverty. If we want to really fight poverty we should do it ourselves to assure the money doesn't end up in some third world dictator's pocket like Obama's cousin Raila Odinga of Kenya (read Jerome Corsi's excellent dispatcbes from Kenya in World Net Daily. Sean Hannity and Mark Levin have done excellent work on this subject, too). McCain will cut out the middle man and help will go directly to the people who need it. Barack Hussein Osama will not do that and he will not help you, the American citizen because he is a Muslim and Muslims hate America. If he is elected he will not keep any of the bright shiney promises he has been dangling in front of you for the last two years. Instead, he will suspend the Constitution and throw pro-family Chrisitans in jail (which is why I formally predict civil war if he is selected. He can only be selected because Acorn is presently working overtime to create votes for this treasonous traitor). He has never kept a political promise he made. He would have gotten what he wants from you and will go on to cause orchestrated crisis in all areas of foreign policy. His real plan is to become President of a world federation united under Sharia law, and will amend Sharia law to allow and promote homosexuality. His first step will be to allow all Muslim countries to gain political control of vast areas and Israel will be the first to fall. McCain will not betray America. Barack Hussein Osama will..yes he can, and yes he will!

You're sad. I'll enjoy seeing your head explode on 11/4.

OK, Lord Basil, you're going to have to do better than just cut and paste kook comments from other websites. Commenter "Caroline" at Jake Tapper's blog here: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/10/in-philly-conse.html used the exact same text as Basil here. I wonder who wrote it originally.

But yes, I agree: the McCain campaign should devote 100% of its resources to bleating about Obama's "homosexuality" from now til November. Obama would get 500 electoral votes if he did.

I used the words on that blog post to combine my efforts with another traditionalist to fight the coming tyranny of Marxism soon to envelope this once great nation.

Two can better do the work the leftist media deliberately sluffs off.

When I got to the part that read "Sean Hannity and (whoever the fuck) have done excellent work..." I burst out laughing.

You seriously, seriously didn't really type that with a straight face, did you L. Basil?

I'm still giggling about that line!

Marxist Tyranny! How camp!

I can't decide if i want to go with the earnest 30's working man/revolutionary look, or mix it up a bit and go for 40's Roy Cohn uptight businessman look. Since I work for City Light, which was at one time considered a grave socialist threat (no, I'm not making that up) I think I'll for for the working man look. It's less of a stretch, and I'm not as young as I used to be.

Catalina, since we're about to enter another Great Depression I'd definitely go with the '30s worker look. Say hi when you see me selling apples in front of Westlake Center...

@9: You should definitely include a few artful grease smudges, and make sure to work some in under your fingernails.

I don't understand why conservatives like to bring up Obama's Kenyan family, and how he should "rescue" them. Can't the free market sort those people out?

Pastor Anthony Robinson, in today's P-I, sings the praises of Toronto's vibrant streetscape and of late Toronto resident Jane Jacobs:

Why do small businesses thrive here when they've failed elsewhere? Many factors I'm sure, but the nature of streets here has something to do with it....

Cars are but one of the users of streets. They don't own the street.

I'd have a thimbleful of respect for Cindy McCain if she'd just say, "Fuck yes - I'm addicted to painkillers! They're an awesome high and you can't beat the nod when you wash 'em down with a glass of vino. Sure you're plugged up for a week but hey, that's what Correctol is for. And a painkiller buzz is the closest thing to street dope you can get without having to drive down to 14th and Van Buren and dealing with those Mexicans!"

true dat@16: hear, hear. couldn't agree more. rosemary clooney had the integrity to admit as much back when an interviewer asked her why she took all those pills for all those years. no "i was unhappy," or "i had low self-esteem," she just stated "'cause they feel good."

Yes, my man & I will be at Hump! next weekend. Woot woot!

And Basil dear, you are so endearing in that tin foil hat of yours. I know that you want the world to think of you as a man of refined views, but you ought to proofread and spell-check once in a while. You tend to resemble your less-refined brethren over at Free Republic.

Basil makes me spontaneously projectile vomit towards the stage at public events. Oregano and tarragon too. (Probably why they kicked me out of the last Dino Rossi rally--damn you, Olive Garden!)

Anyway, please post more recipes with Fnarf in them.

That Cindy McCain article in the Times is depressing. Is she really doing this to gain John's approval? Like that'll ever happen. I wonder if there was ever a time when he actually loved her.

So John McCain leaves his popular wife for a younger, wealther woman. He remains a well-liked figure in the Senate, but Cindy gets a very chilly reception. Anybody else notice a problem here? Men philandering is just fine, but don't you dare be the Other Woman.

@24,

I think it's more that the boys' club in Congress doesn't give a shit about infidelity. Their wives, however, do. They worry that they could wind up like Carol McCain, so they'll gladly blackball any trophy wife in their midst.
