Not true. Not even close to true. Not even close to what the source you referenced says. The article only discusses vertebrates for a reason, namely that invertebrates represent a much larger portion of the world's biomass. Backbones aside, it doesn't even claim we outweigh all vertebrates. It says we outweigh some subsets of the vertebrates.

Without the lovely herbs, that rabbit dish would look like vomit.

That article on censorship at colleges is maddening - both for what is happening at these colleges and the supposed rationale. Are colleges really doing these things because they are afraid of losing 501c3 status? That's so ridiculous as to not even be worthy of a rebuttal.

Individuals associated with a nonprofit can endorse candidates (and of course, discuss politics and forward e-mails) all they want. But, the institution cannot endorse a candidate. Truly maddening.

What do they mean by major metropolitan area in that transit article? The CTA has the same rates, essentially, as Metro and Sound Transit, as well as TriMet in Portland, and out here far fewer people can get by without a car, so that makes transit even more expensive by comparison.

Fix your headline: The Chicago Tribune did not drop AP; it gave the required (by contract) two-year notice that it intends to drop it. Big difference. A lot can happen in two years.

You can get rabbit at Fero's in the market. I've also eaten it at Union.
