The Morning News

posted by on October 10 at 8:30 AM

Widening gyre: U.S. stocks up and down after global selloff.

Loosed upon the world: The anger of the Republican rally.

The ceremony of innocence: Obama says he assumed Ayers had been rehabilitated.

Somewhere in the sands of the desert: Charges of secret Iraq troop talks.

Surely some revelation is at hand: Palin clears self in Troopergate.

Surely the Second Coming is at hand: Connecticut overturns gay marriage ban.

Curious.

Things are going to get out of control at one of these McCain / Palin rallies, and someone is going to get hurt. When (not if) that happens, are these two going to held accountable?

I always admire the pithyness of the "Morning News" posts, but this is pretty much my favorite of the last 2 years. Bravo!

Was Yeats in favor of the blatant misuse of "it's"?
