2008 The History of Tito
posted by October 28 at 11:01 AM
onLEESBURG, VA –-Sarah Palin brought a guest along to her rally this morning, but it wasn’t a country star or a television personality. However, he is known by his first name: Tito the Builder.Tito Munoz, who owns a construction company in Virginia, has been part of Palin’s stump speech for about a week since the McCain campaign discovered him three days before that at a rally for the top of the ticket in Woodbridge, Virginia. The Colombian born Munoz who is now an American citizen defended Joe the Plumber to a few reporters and took them to task for looking in to the background of Joe Wurzelbacher.
Munoz, dressed in his full construction garb, told the cheering crowd that they can call him by his now famous nickname and then went on to warn Virginians about the “danger” an Obama administration would bring to the country.
With all of her noise about communism this and socialism that, it’s amazing that Palin has introduced to America a man called Tito the Builder. Tito the Builder!

The name Tito has no resonance for that demographic. It is a variant of Titus and a fairly common Latinate name for people of Hispanic descent.
How long before we find out that Tito's construction company employs undocumented workers?
Joe "the plumber" Stalin.
T is the 20th letter of the alphabet.
I is the 9th.
O is round like zero.
20+20+9+0 = 49.
The number 49 has no meaning whatsoever.
THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!
"Hi, my name is Apocryphal Anecdote Scare-Story, and I thought after hearing so much about me from stump speeches, you'd like to meet me in person. Hello, Real Virginia!"
joe six pack, joe the plumber, ed the dairyman, tito the builder..i can't wait for the full series of trading cards to be released.
What about John the leader? Oh, nope, the repugs haven't found him...
Man, I sure wish this thing was over.
What's next Johann the Carpenter?
@*: No -- Karen the Carpenter!
Times were good under Tito. I remember back in the day singing crazy partisan songs and being able to travel pretty easily on that passport. We had Coke and nude beaches, too.
Ron the porn star.
since we are talking about stories for children: "Thomas th Tank Engine"
@4 actually....
49 does have significance Alaska was the 49th state to enter the US >.
13: You could be on to something.
Also, the Ikarus S-49 fighter jet was produced in Yugoslavia.

And Kid Icarus told me that he was "talking names" in defense of the B & O as still hip...way hipper in fact than Kent-based John Bailo (me).
I think we could sell this to Fringe. Tonight at 9 on FOX!
You all are stupid and not funny at all to mock one of the strongest Nazi fighters of WW II.
Tito led the red partisans who resisted to the max the Nazi takeover of their native Balkans.
Fierce and determined fighters they lived in caves, in the woods, on the run, and were valiant beyond measure. All of Europe admired these men and women.
Post WW II, Tito presided over the new federation country of Yugoslavia. Yes, indie communist, of course.
He was a strong and determined leader who made it happen for 40 years.
When he died, Yugoslavia splintered back into separate Balkan states.
A hero of the era, the real history of the liberation of Europe from fascism by shedding lots of blood and supremely valiant efforts.
I am Croatian and in my family village all the men went to the woods to fight the Germans. Hence, in retaliation for some supposed crime, the German Nazis rounded up many of the women, most of my female relatives, grandmother, aunts and cousins and burned them alive by burning the family home, 40 women died a horrible death.
Today, in that village, a picture of Tito hangs in every home. And each time I have visited in the last two decades I am treated like a prince because of my family and the sacrifices of the War. The charred ruins of a fine large stone house still sit on the hillside, untouched for 60 years.
Don't sneer at Tito, bad karma.

I had to idea that Tito Puente and Tito Jackson were Republicans.
Those kooky right-wingers may bankrupt the nation and everyone in it, but at least they've got a great beat that we all can dance to!
@ 8 & 9 it will be Jesus the Carpenter
