Yeah, but there was a surge in domestic terrorism in the '90s, even as we had an economic boom. Those incidents have been dropping off over the past eight years. I'm not convinced it's just a matter of economic trouble, at least in this country. I think it's also caused by right wing radicals feeling threatened.
