Is Josh Keyes coastal Indian? I don't think he is. I'd like to see a Salish artist move these materials into the modern world. But it's still a powerful piece.

fnarf, it's happening all the time but most of it isn't in the mainstream or at a 'high art' level. you may find it on a t-shirt such as this...
