Tired of Scruple™ of the Day? Liar.

Here’s another one!

Scruples%20homo.jpg

“You are a high school principal. Will you hire a competent teacher who is a homosexual?”

Keep in mind that some students might be allergic to feather boas. Think of the children.

Was I seriously alive during the '80s? Was this really the way it was? Good Lord.

Yes, but I wouldn't be okay with my kid sharing the same classroom with Chris Crocker.

Seriously.

if you're a homosexual principal, or a closeted one like i had, then the answer is you ONLY hire homosexuals.

WHY IS THIS ON SLOG? GOD! I AM SO FUCKING MAD ABOUT IT BEING ON HERE! DON'T YOU KNOW THERE'S A WAR GOING ON?

No, I would only hire terrified, compliant young women, and make them stay after work for in-depth consultations, and make them wait in my darkened anteroom before bursting into the room from a ceiling panel overhead, dressed head to toe in gold lycra, brandishing a sword, shouting slogans from the Kabbalah.

Oooh, Fnarf, you had me at hello!

The only thing I'm enjoying about this is the repeated display of the 80's forgotten appropriation of Victorian marquees and funhouse-mirror Art Deco checkerboard patterns. It wasn't all Day Glo and headbands.

This is a set up for a really good and nasty gay porn from Jocks.

BTW, HIRE the teacher, he has a 10" dick!!!

So, um, Meagan is it? You sound as if you have something on your mind. A war? A war you say? Hmmm. I googled that. Yes, there is a war, you're right, and guess what? There are hundreds of blogs devoted exclusivley to it. For and against. Seems like you're in the wrong sandbox kiddo.

We can take some small comfort from the fact that in 1986, Seattle was one of only a handful of cities which would have legally compelled the answer: yes.

\sarcasm on
Well, is this competent homosexual also a minority? I've got quotas to fill you know.
\sarcasm off

What would add to these Scruple of the Day posts would be a "Scruples Then/Scruples Now" schtick. For example "You are a competent elementary school teacher and suspect one of your hot female teachers is doing the nasty with one of the young lads in your school. Do you intervene?"

PopTart, this is Slog. You don't have to inform of sarcasm. If somebody doesn't get it, we'll take care of it.

When I first went to school at a state teachers' college in 1976, I had to sign a form declaring I was not now nor had ever been a homosexual. I felt so guilty that I lied when I signed, but then I noted the sun came up everyday after any way.....

The Supreme Court, Horowitz, J., held that substantial evidence supported trial court's conclusions that teacher was guilty of immorality and that, as known homosexual, his fitness as teacher was impaired to injury of high school in which he taught, justifying his discharge.

Gaylord v. Tacoma School Dist. No. 10, 88 Wn.2d 286, 559 P.2d 1340 (1977).
