David Macauley, who wrote The Way Things Work, which is a great book for children that shows how machines operate, is in town with his new book The Way We Work. It's a cleverly illustrated guide for children about how bodies operate. I love this book. It's intended for children to understand it, but there are lots of things adults can learn, too.
