It's too bad that being well dressed isn't the most valuable quality needed for the potential leader of the free world.

Sarah Palin is gamey and leaves a funny taste on the roof of my mouth. Please post more pics with Monica Bellucci in them.

OMG. Bailo just made a pithy and relevant comment.

I am swallowing my own tongue.

Charles, if you post a picture of a woman (ANY woman, however cringe-inducing) and then fail to include either title or text, we are forced to the conclusion that you are thwuppin' it in yer pants.

Oh dear, what happened to Pat Nixon's Republican Cloth Coat?

For some reason, she is starting to remind me of a less zaftig Monica Lewinsky.

Au contraire:

Bailo's comment = lacking any substance = admission he's got nothing to say.

Like McCain/GOP/Palin.

Upon being criticized for her shoe and wardrobe extravagances, Imelda Marcos said:

"My people do not wish to see me dressed in rags."

I am so unimpressed with her, what's with the flag pin, it looks grotesquely large

Now she's just got to tap those heels together three times and teleport back to Wasilla.

Well, Imelda had a point. Her people DIDN'T wish to see her dressed in rags. And you all know that if Mrs Palin had gone shopping for her wardrobe at Wal-Mart and Target--the USA's equivalent of rags--the "OMG freakin' trailer-trash" comments would have been nonstop. I wonder where Mr Obama gets HIS clothes from?

@17, I like that -- "Alaska's own Imelda Marcos".

@21,

I don't know about Sen. Obama, but his wife wears clothes from the Gap and H&M. Sen. Obama also has his shoes resoled rather than just buying a new pair.

Jake Tapper's got an interesting interview with a tax attorney who says those clothes are taxable income. It's the same "gift" shit that Ted Stevens is about to go to the pokey for. When will Alaskans ever learn?

does she get to keep the clothes as a consolation prize for LOSING the election, i wonder. or will the repugs be so pissed off that they will demand them back because she LOST the election. inquiring minds want to know.

"I don't know about Sen. Obama, but his wife wears clothes from the Gap and H&M. Sen. Obama also has his shoes resoled rather than just buying a new pair."

I do like it that Mr Obama has his shoes resoled. It's a practice I adhere to. With the price of resoling, though, it takes a pricey pair a' klumps to make it worth it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you. As an independent conservative I can freely support the right of anyone to wear the snazziest clothes they can. And I do.

If it were to surface that Mr Obama buys all this threads at Brooks Bros., I'd compliment him on his taste. A Senator, or other major American politician, should look good. Makes me think I might want to put in a word for Mrs Obama to start getting the Saks, Bloomie's, and I. Magnin catalogues though.

Seajay, there's MANY MANY choices in between Target and Saks, fer crying out loud. If she knew anything at all about being middle-class, she'd know how to look great for less. It's not like she isn't blessed with a nice figure. Though I personally think her inner ugliness really shows through.

and by "less," I mean less than a hundred and fifty thousand dollars in two freakin months. That's what it costs to not look like trailer trash? Really. Now we all know. Where's itsmarkmitchell? He can settle this, no doubt...

what do you expect from a woman who used state money to put a goddamn TANNING BED in the governor's mansion?
