Just plain wow. How could ANY rational person listen to this and not be persuaded?

Oh, I just answered my own question.

Is this being aired on television?

I fucking hope so - it is far better than any of the other ads the No campaign has produced.

At 1 minute in length, it is the longest ad.

If only appealing to people's reason and compassion was enough, prop. eight would go down in smoke.

I do think the family angle is best for appealing to the "family values" inclined undecided people. My other favorite no on 8 ad is basically the same idea, with a mother and father talking about how one of their 3 children is gay but they treat all their children equally and want them all to be happy and have families etc.

I live in the SF Bay Area (the peninsula) and I was out running errands and there are people on every corner with YES ON 8 signs. I finally had to come home lest I stop the car and strangle someone. I am so saddened and ashamed by the bigotry and intolerance in this supposedly liberal county. If there are that many people in this county that feel that way, I can only imagine the numbers in the more remote areas of California. So sad and misguided.
