You've become what Dan Savage would call The Stranger's "resident harpy" on KUOW.

How about the AG smacking Nickels' and his ill-conceived gun ban?

Why Rossi lacks substance and is still polling better-- for example, he says he's cutting spending and then turns around and says he's spending $18 billion on roads with $14 billion going to the Puget Sound.

Why Gregoire hasn't pointed out how well we are doing compared to the rest of the country and how the deficit is not her fault no matter how much you dice it (http://www.budgetandpolicy.org/policybriefs/deficit092308.html)?

Seriously, check the URL: http://www.budgetandpolicy.org/policybriefs/deficit092308.html

Rossi's work on the budget was minimal at best and there was nothing worth claiming in the 2003-2005 budget. He's so full of crap.

Meh.

You covered it.

The AG smacking Nickels ain't so amazing; we do appear to have a state preemption of the gun control field. What is more amazing is Nickel's vow to disregard the AG opinion.

IOw he ain't a gonna run for anything statewide afta that.

And I say that as a firm proponent of (constitutional, legal, sensible) gun control.

Also mention, if you're allowed, that should Rossi win, Gay Washingtonians will be set back decades in their struggle for civil equality. I know one is not allowed to use harsh and hurtful language on Adult radio, but Rossi would be (I'll put it in kid speak) very bad, a bad man.

I'd like to know what an elite thinks is elite.

Personally, I'm leaning toward a 1970 Oldsmobile 88, red with a white convertible top and an 8-track playing Neil Diamond.

What's your definition of elite, speaking from inside the bubble?

What will become of Sarah Palin after the election? the next Dr. Joyce Brothers? Greta Van Sustern (the one who had a face lift)? Anchorage weather gal? Hope her kids have been keeping journals - that should keep them in shekels for a while - especially Fo-ebby, the special needs prop (Dina Martina's love child).

Someone found a letter you wrote me, on the radio
and they told the world just how you felt
it must have fallen out of a hole in your old brown overcoat
they never said your name
but I knew just who they meant.

Oh, I was so surprised and shocked, and I wondered too
if by change you heard it for yourself
I never told a soul just how I've been feeling about you
but they said it really loud
they said it on the air
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh now, now

Don't it kinda strike you sad when you hear our song
things are not the same since we broke up last June
the only thing that I wanna hear is that you love me still
and that you think you'll be comin' home real soon
whoa oh yeah yeah
and it made me feel proud when I heard you say
you couldn't find the words to say it yourself
and now in my heart I know I can say what I really feel
'cause they said it really loud
they said it on the air
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio

If you think that love isn't found on the radio
well tune right in you made find the love you lost
'cause now I'm sitting here with the man I sent away long ago
it sounded really loud they said it really loud
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio whoa oh oh
on the radio, radio, radio (fade)
