Good direction. Good production values.
I hope as Pres. he puts up something like this on the internet about every freaking month because we are sure gonna have to fight like hell to get things passed. So, we will have to force a few dozen representatives and a handful of key senators on every vote to get with the program.

Jeez - all these really personal stories are kind of tough to watch without choking up a little. The sappy music doesn't help.
But yeah, when he talked about his mom -- it helps to see politicians as human beings.

Too bad my stupid parents already sent in their absentee ballots, I think this MIGHT have woken them up to the fact that other than abortion, they are voting against everything they believe in with McCain/Palin.

I seriously hope that he'll do something like this on a regular basis when he becomes president. I mean, think of it. He's got this massive list of engaged and interested citizens. I can't imagine they'll just sit on that list until the next election. I think he's about to revolutionize the way a President governs.

McCain doesn't have to pay for his infomercials....FOX tows the line for him 7 days a week.

We have been bullied and abused for the past 8 years by turds we elected into positions of power.
Somehow the better angels of our nature have managed to coalesce into Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
It's not all about Obama, it's about all of us - it has happened only because of all of us.
This is the lesson of what we can do when we work together instead of neighbor against neighbor.
This is what democracy trying to br reborn looks like.
This is what the people who founded this country have tried to hand us down through the decades and centuries.
There is no guarantee - only we can keep democracy alive. The cost of freedom is indeed eternal vigilance, and for each of us to be actively involved in nurturing and defendingour freedom.

We'll all remember for the rest of our lives where we were when we hear the results of next week's election.
Can't wait to watch. This sounded like the most iffy-at-best idea. Then I remembered it was coming from Obama, who has always known exactly what he was doing.
I think he'll be a good President. I hope he'll be great. But I don't know if there's ever been a better Presidential candidate or if there ever can be.
It's kind of lame that this is going to run opposite the World Series in the Mountain time zone swing states.

it was supposed to be on fox, abc and cbs and we didn't see it on either after 10 min of flipping between channels we watched a movie..all ready voted though
Fantastic super-professional show. Well oriented to reach even the most slack-jawed Undecided. No words with too many syllables, no tangly specifics. Brilliantly highlighted the expressions of trust and identification on his supporters' faces in the montages of meet-n-greets.

@21, it doesn't air until 8pm in Seattle on CBS, NBC, and FOX. I think the people above are referring to airings on cable or east coast stuff. Eli's mention of just MSNBC confused me.
It will also air at 8:30 pm on channel 13 according to the PI TV listings.
I think BET has it at 8 pm too.

It was definitely on MSNBC. I'm on the West Coast and watched it at 5pm... but I think I'll watch it again at 8pm. :)
Cool shout out to McKinstry from Obama. I think that was the only company and Seattle was the only city Obama mentioned by name (but I wasn't counting). Thanks for the youtube link samual!

Really, regardless of the outcome, Obama has run an absolutely brilliant campaign. Of course, I have Nov. 5 set aside in case of shenanigans.

Did you buy COMCAST?!? I know of THREE residences (one in Bothell, one in Shoreline, one in Seattle) that have "lost" CNN 44, CNNheadlinenews 45, MSNBC 46, and CSPAN 25 in this last month. In each case, FOXNEWS still came through just fine. After calls to Comcast, a repair person was sent out within a few days, and they fixed it. But I'm beginning to smell a conspiracy. The Comcast repair person said "just watch Fox" to my parents. The person who came to my friend's house in Shoreline said that those other channels (including animal planet randomly) all come to Comcast in a poor quality already, so are more prone to going out. Hmmmmmm.
