Cory is a brilliant guy...I have every confidence that he can put Hugo House back on a stable path.
I love getting pizza at Sbarbaro when I'm at the mall.
Agree with @1.
What's your problem Paul? Upset they didn't run this choice by you?

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of serving on the Fremont Public Association (now Solid Ground) board of directors with Cory. He's very smart, talented and knows how to get a non-profit running efficiently and effectively. This is a good thing for Hugo House and the community.
As someone who was a candidate for an ED job at another npo where Cory was Interim ED, I can tell you the guy is the real deal in this odd specialty roll. He's a total pro, with unique combo of deep book knowledge and hands on experience with the ugly sausage making reality of nonprofits. Hugo is in good hands.
Hey Paul --- I've worked with Cory on numerous projects, and I can tell you without a doubt that choosing him as interim E.D. was not "playing it safe" as much as "playing it right!" Cory is the consummate professional. Organizations NEED people like him to get through these kinds of transitions. Hugo House is going to come out of this stronger than ever.
