Speaking of which, I'm up in Vancouver doing a term at Simon Fraser, and I got my absentee ballot today. When are you guys doing your election recommendations? I know what I want to mark on 70% of the ballot, but please don't make me read all those goddamn initiatives, eh?
Dino's always been a bit precocious with his gubernatorial pretensions. When I was in the complaint department at a local cruise line, he took a post vacation cruise. Though the recount had not been completed yet, he demanded to be called Governor Rossi. I advised our staff to demure, and point out that he wasn't sworn in yet. He also demanded that his child, who was four at the time, be allowed in the kids program, which was open only to those at least five years old, and threw a tantrum worth of a four year old when he was refused.
Oh, and the cruise line nearly got in trouble because they initially didn't charge him for the cruise. It got reported as an illegal campaign contribution and he had to pay up at full price to avoid trouble for him and the cruise line.
Oh wow, I never noticed the insidious Dino Rossi/Steve Guttenberg resemblance especially in that photo. Creepy.
I don't care if Gregoire beats that Bush clone with a baseball bat; I just want her to beat him.
And does anyone care if he openly broke the law? Apparently not given his poll numbers. Hasn't Illinois had a governor that served from prison? I guess it wouldn't be a precedent.

How is it possible that Obama is polling way ahead in this state, and Rossi is polling ahead of Gregoire?

I write this from my home in an outpost in the Scablands, and I sure am getting sick of seeing all those billboards that have Dino's name in big letters with a tagline underneath, "Don't let Seattle STEAL this election!"
