Or, if he wasn't fighting, how would that hurt the right to protest? Does she really think that by not fighting in Iraq we're that much closer to losing some right? How?

OBL never attacked our freedom of speech. he wants our imperialism in the ME to end. a reasonable goal, unreasonable tactics.

I know this sounds like a joke, but I keep suffering from serious cases of Palin rage. When she spouts off shit like this I get so angry that I can't think of anything except how much I hate her. If I donate to Obama's campaign every time this happens, I will go broke. I really need a way to deal with this.

@14: I actually like Eye-rack. It's only third world countries that we're supposed to for some reason pronounce the way their citizens pronounce them. We don't say Frahnce or Deutschland or Nippon or (insert name of virtually any developed country here). And I seriously doubt that they call us the United States.

The war has nothing to do with free speech. September 11 had nothing to do with Iraq. How are Iraq's threatening free speech. It is the Republican policy and corruption that is threatening US democracy.

To each their own, but I generally see it as similar to pronouncing names. It's ok to be a little lazy with pronunciations, but is it acceptable to say Jack Chee-rack? Anyone who pronounces it that way would look like an idiot or an asshole, which of course means that Palin would totally do it.
