This was hilarious and caught me completely by surprise. Who knew russians were funny?

Can we expect this kind of ridicule from the world all the time if we elect McBush and Palin? I'd almost vote for them just for that.

Don't know much about Russia, then or now, but in Germany these ugly old guys used to come over to our kitchen with bottles of vodka and a guitar and sing songs all night to the hot Russian chicks. Who explained that in the U.S.S.R. there was a tradition of making up and singing songs that hot chicks liked. (I hope I remembered that correctly. Maybe the songs were intellectual.)

Later, after the Russland-Deutsche (Russian Germans) that Helmut Kohl invited back had had a few years to get settled, I went to a new huge Russian grocery store in a small country town. This store was GREAT! Wall of vodkas. Giant porcelain tigers. And a big selection of Russian music CD's. I randomly bought two, and they were both really good! Pop songs with hooks. Germany has clearly benefited from inviting in the Russians.

Even though I saw it here first, these guys graduated last year from my little Vermont college. I almost feel cooler by association now.
