More Star Power for Gregoire

posted by on October 23 at 15:10 PM

Last weekend it was Joe Biden in Tacoma. A little while back it was Bill Richardson in Spokane. And tomorrow it’s Al Gore, in an event announced just today, speaking at the Seattle Sheraton as a fundraiser for Gov. Christine Gregoire.

That’s what you get when you’re in a tight race (and when the party wants you to win).

My dad stood next to Al Gore at a urinal in Elliot Bay Bookstore once.

So you know, we're close.

How many monies does it take for me to see the god of the internet speak?

I need Gregoire to give me a reason to vote for her other than "Vote for me. I'm not that guy." I have no intention of voting for the sleaze that is Rossi, but I don't believe that Democrats who are unwilling to take an actionable progressive stand in an election year should be rewarded for pandering to the center-right.

That's me, though.

I don't think anyone who touts their position on sex offenders should get a vote. Period.

@3: she is pro-transit and pro-female.

Pro-transit is super important because with dingo rossi running the show, we're going to be 4 years behind in progressive transit for this state, something that is desperately needed.

Pro-female is also super important, even if you're a gay dude. less unwanted babies = good for everyone.

I wonder...

Why is it that almost everytime I am watching the local news it seems that they play Rossi ads way more and back-to-back than any Democratic ads.
