I don't think it's the sleaziest. I think what happened to Kerry was much, much worse.
The swiftboaters were fucking assholes, but were well-funded and organized (and effective).
McCain's sleaze is so incompetently done, disorganized, and laughable.
It's like beating up Obama with cotton-candy boxing gloves.
There are four weeks to go. We ain't seen nothin' yet. It's gonna get crazy ugly.
Evidently TPM's forgotten about Willie Horton and Mr McCain's black love child. Haven't heard about that last lately btw. Unless I'm letting an October Surprise out of the bag.
