What's expected is that AQ indicates they'd prefer Obama, because they know that will push people to vote for McCain, and of course they'd much prefer him to win. This is what they did in 2004 when OBL released a message supporting Kerry. Nobody wants to go with their choice, so they go with the other guy, which is exactly what they wanted us to do. They're not looking to get away with anything, they WANT war, and they want to die for their cause. This simple fact seems to be lost on many Americans.

But this time they must know we saw it coming, so they flipped it! Now they're endorsing McCain, hoping we'll think they're trying to trick us again, and we'll vote for McCain so as not to (conversely) do what they want us to do!
