It's a crude coincidence. SAM didn't actually curate the Maker's Mark exhibition and isn't giving it any gallery space—the show just bought the credibility of the museum's name and location by renting a room... You can't distill water. The alcohol originally comes from a brew of corn fermented with yeast not completely dissimilar to beer. Then they distill that stuff.

Last year we went to the International Bourbon Festival in Bardstown, KY and it was a riot. The Whiskey Museum is also a treat.
