I'm a little sad that this photo is so terrible and will obviously be widely distributed, because in the video his little feint to the left and funny face were actually sort of cute/endearing. But, if it makes him look stupid a la the Howard Dean scream and that means it's that much more likely that Obama wins... well... fine.

Frankly, McCain's countless different crazy-faces during last night's debates were not endearing to me, but moreso worrisome. That man has a horrible poker-face. He wears his thinly-veiled frustration and anger like a spoiled five-year-old trying to hold back his screams of indignation.
A man with an inability to control his emotions or expressions, a man whose silent responses go from Bug-Eyed-Crazy to Bug-Eyed-Insane and back again, is not someone I want representing my country to the rest of the world. it is not someone I would want in the role of negotiator.
What you may see as an endearingly-wacky expression I see as an obnoxious loss of control and mannerisms unbecoming of someone who represents our nation.

@8... I didn't say that his expressions during the debate were cute/endearing. Just the one in the picture. I thought the weird expressions and bug-eyes during the debate made him look crazy.

The footage of a cool Kennedy up against a sweating and disgusting Nixon...
This is the image historians will be looking at for years
*bliss*
Caption (from McCain's mouth)
Please Obamabot!
Stop copying my words!
Obamabot! I said Venezuela first!
Obamabot is on the loose, stealing ideas and policies from each and every blog and politician (Main Street/Wall Street).
Obamabot is the new Bill Gates...takes the credit...steals the idea...
Lame. Poorly done. Stupid.
HA!
Yes John Bailo, because in a debate, when one person mentions something, the other person is not allowed to mention it.
Go back to trolling VB forums.
I've seen a hundred send-ups on that screenshot today, and this is the best one. Would LOL again.

@8 Hear hear!! You just very eloquently explained my feelings on McCain last night in a way I've been grasping for since the first debate. Thank you!
#5: "the other person is not allowed to mention it."
Rewind the videotape in your Betamax and have another look.
McCain composed a thoughtful answer.
Obama began his response by EXACTLY repeating the answer McCain created!
If McCain ate a live puppy on stage. John Bailo would defend puppy eating.
I love John Bailo and will miss him after his messy November 5th murder/suicide.
I thought McCain was just practicing his jazz hands.
Someone said to me today that McCain looked like a beetle that had two of its legs ripped off. That is accurate.
Put a top hat and a cane in his hands, and he's that old wb frog.
Oh, and really the credit for the image goes to #9 for being my humor quality control assurance agent. It benefits us all.

@15 that is hilarious.
the first thing that popped into my mind when i saw this picture was that mccain was going in for an obama-grope. tongue out, hands reaching...ew.
but still, i agree with julie. it's just a bad picture. kind of a cheap shot.
Nixon said failure is when you develop character... looks like the GOP will be doing a LOT of character development shortly.
@15
