I’m Sure You Don’t Need Me to Tell You This…

posted by on October 24 at 13:15 PM

But High School Musical 3: Senior Year opens today. I saw it on Wednesday (review forthcoming).

But while it is bigger and shinier and makes exactly the same amount of sense as HSM1 and HSM2 (that is to say, NONE SENSE), nothing in HSM3:SY comes close to surpassing this:

Which, obviously, remains one of the most perfectly entertaining pieces of entertainment ever created. FUCK I COULD WATCH THAT FOREVER.

That was so gay. And I mean "gay" as in homosexual.

I'm sooooo glad my kids aren't old enough for this yet.

Wow.

I can truthfully say that the choreography in my high school musicals was 10 times better than that.

The tune was pretty catchy, though.

What, wait...the school is next to a golf course? WTF? Is this a golf movie - does the final showdown take place with a putting showdown?

I'm not familiar with the kind of thing I'm seeing.

Not nearly half as gay as the seduction scene in the same movie. Really amazing and about as uncloseted as you can imagine Disney being...

@9 Come on! Everyone knows that HSM2 was all about summer break. And duh they all worked at the golf course to make extra money and touch each other's junk on the 9th hole.

These movies are so bad but in an awesome way. I wish I had kids that I could use as an excuse to go watch this tonight instead the gays and I will be getting drunk and going as a joke or that is what I have to tell them to go. Does Zac take his shirt off in this one?

It would've been better if he'd gotten naked and jumped in the lake to retrieve his ball. You can bet on it.

@15 Troy totes takes his shirt off, right before he gets all angsty in the locker room. You are going to love it.

Meh. "Camp" was way better. And most of their gay characters were out of the closet.
