TV Here for You is a Very Odd Chunk of Television..

on…that I am unable to embed so you’ll just have to follow the Jezebel link to tan old actor George Hamilton telling the ladies of The View about his adventures as a 12-year-old boy fucking his 28-year-old stepmother.
Living in the age of Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office has inured me to a lot of what would typically make me squirm. This made me squirm.

This probably makes me a Bad Person, but. . . yeah, I think this cultural idea that we have about the innocence of children and the giant wall that always needs to be in place between the sexuality of a person in their teens and a person in their twenties, or whatever. . . it's a bit silly. You won't catch me fucking a 12 year old, but hey, if he doesn't feel abused, I fail to see the problem.
My little brother is 11, so this skeeved me out much more than I can stand.
didn't you mean stepFATHER? if not, I don't get it
That story is the kind of stuff you take to your grave. But like #1 said, he doesn't feel abused and doesn't seem to have any regrets about it (not even the fact that he was fucking his father's wife, apparently).
I'm reminded of a recent John Irving interview where he talked about his first sexual relationship being when he was a young teen and with a women in her 30's. He said it warped him because all the sex with girls/women his own age paled in comparison to his more experienced introduction.
I really wish I didn't watch that. George Hamilton is now, incredibly, even creepier.
I feel like every anonymous observer should get the chance to judge whether or not something bad or perverse took place a million fucking years ago. Jesus Christ.
Thanks, but I think I'll pass.
7: It's not about judging, at least not for me. It's about a fascinating collision of world views.
Wow. 12 is too young, but by 13 I would have been totally into this, inevitable future harm be damned.
Shota Cat approves.
It just seems wrong on so many levels
Creepy.
In all those sexual abuse studies, there's a small fraction of boys (but almost never girls) who consider the encounter a "positive experience." I guess Hamilton falls into that fraction.
Of note, this statistic is almost never discussed publicly, because it is seen as inviting public outrage and career suicide, and also because no one wants to encourage abusers to keep at it.
I hesitate to even put this out there, but I enjoyed phone sex at age 9. I used to prank call to be funny and cute, and eventually I found a guy who taught me how to tickle myself. IF you know what I mean. I didn't know what it was, but it felt pretty darn good. wow. (I'm a female: btw)
