Finally: A Well-Reasoned Argument Against an Obama Presidency

posted by on October 2 at 9:09 AM

…from a Hillary supporter no less:

For what it’s worth, I believe this woman would make a more viable Vice-Presidential candidate than Sarah Palin. I base this belief entirely on the woman’s familiarity with the word “Lebanon,” but there you have it.

I also like to think the woman and her two friends are all straddling the same burro, which they’ll soon ride to the drive-in.

Thank you, WoW Report.

Ack, sorry about re-post, I was on vacation earlier this week. I'll leave it up for other dunces like me who missed it.

I found the guy trying to shield his face from the camera particularly entertaining, as well. He was very subtle about it, so as not to draw any attention to himself from "America's Most Wanted".

At the risk of alienating every friend I have at L'Etranger -- and understanding that dupe posts are hardly the end of the world -- I wonder if there is someone running "air traffic control" regarding content that could keep these dupe postings from happening? If not, maybe there could be? If there is, well, ummm...

I know, I know -- everybody's a genius when it comes to running somebody else's business. At the end of the day, Slog is wonderful and you can tell me to go back in my cage...

Of course! Anyone who votes for Bear-rack Who-sain Obama must in in favour of the Ay-rabs cuttin' off the heads of our Amurrican soljers ... natcher'lly!

And to think this condescension comes at the expense of the working classes and poor that liberals claim to work in support of.

Still, it says something that you credited them with some reasoning power. I'm guessing whatever they possess in that department would be due to not only not having gone to college, but having dropped out of the public school system before it destroyed the last vestiges. I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that they actually know what a day's work is.

@13

Dear Seajay,

I work. I've done 40-hour work weeks in cubicles and 60+-hour weeks pouring concrete.

And somehow I also managed to educate myself a little and not walk around spouting ignorant-ass bullshit.

Let's not moralize going to work. Most people do it every day. It doesn't automatically excuse you from shit like this.

Thanks, SW ... not that I had you in mind personally; I just thought it was something to be said in their favour. I don't indulge in zero-sum thought, where credit given to someone necessarily means credit withheld from someone else. My hat is off to anyone, regardless of party affiliation or political belief, who labours--which I've also done, having started in commercial fisheries nearly forty years ago.

@9:

I thought he was just waving at the camera...

@13:

Ignorant, ass-hat yokels are just that - and many would be proud to claim that appellation. After all, this is a country that prizes anti-intellectualism to a degree not seen since the Romans started running lead-lined plumbing into their domii.

This goes to prove the old saying: You know how stupid the average person is? Well, by definition, half of all people are more stupid than that.

And yet her vote counts the same as yours. If only there were some fair way to weed out the stupid.

Goes to show you why so many of these people vote GOP ... given the welcoming, sympathetic attitude waiting for them from liberals and Democrats.

seajay, you can treat this woman like a child or you can treat her like an adult. her grown up brain is full of total crap and no one owes her anything but contempt for her intellectual laziness and deliberate stupidity. i think it's more condescending to make excuses for her than it is to just tell her to shut the fuck up.

@22; you convinced me. People like this need to STFU and just agree to be fleeced for their tax money by liberals and looters who have nothing but contempt for them.
