"They must be hoping that saying it will make it true."
What pundits? Bill Kristol does not qualify as a plural.
Does he think that today is opposite day?
He must have borrowed some leftover "Joementum" from Lieberman.
It's called "reflexive rhetoric" and sometimes it works.
But not this time, goddamit! No no no.
Really, what can he say? "Yeah, I'm fucked. I blame that cunt from Alaska."
This is exactly like when Rove said in 2006 not to believe the polls and that the Republicans had everything under control. I took that to mean then that the crimes were already well underway to steal yet another election. What surprised them in 2006 and mostly (but not completely) foiled their plans was the historic voter turnout.
This year, I think they're starting this now for the same reason -- so that when the crimes work and McCain "wins" they can say it isn't a surprise because their numbers said this all along.
The only question is: will voter turnout be large enough to trump their crimes again? Because I honestly don't believe John McCain -- who has certainly been briefed on all the illegal activities currently taking place for his benefit -- thinks voter turnout will trump their crimes. That doesn't mean he's right.
I believe he is confusing momentum with inertia.
If I knew anybody in Pennsylvania, I'd be calling them right now.
1. yes we need massive voter turnout.
2. I think we may need massive silent dignified protests say 200K-1M strong in each of 25 largest cities in USA on nov. 5th-9th when the GOP tries to steal the election via post-election shenanigans and lawsuits eg discounting provisional ballots, losing ballots, stopping counting, etc.
Like in 200.
But this time let's all of us not be wimps about it, okay?
FYI: Gallup:
Obama leads by two to seven points among likely voters
October 28, 2008 The gap between Barack Obama and John McCain in Gallup Poll Daily tracking from Saturday through Monday has narrowed slightly, and Obama is now at 49% of the vote to 47% for McCain among likely voters using Gallup's traditional model, and at 51% to 44% using Gallup's expanded model.
Build the "this wasn't rigged" narrative on top of the "democrats will riot" narrative to lock up a permanent republican majority.
Huh-durrrrrrr.
Yeah, their momentum is building a little bit more every 100,000 new voters they drop from the rolls.
It's just his laxative kicking in. At last!
Maybe he should try not just meeting a few hundred of his party comrades in small spaces, and get out and find out what most people REALLY think ...
Nah, too late.
As to rioting ... lock and load!
Well, McSame is pretty old - from his perspective it might be hard to tell the difference between forward momentum and stumbling along aimlessly.
NEWSFLASH: You never gained momentum in the primaries old man; all the other campaigns collapsed or exploded. It was merely a coincidence that your albatrosses were the lightest out of everyone's
Meanwhile, he's only 8 points ahead of Obama in his homestate of Arizona...and Obama is 25 points ahead of McSame in HIS homestate of Illinois.
it's probably how they are laying the ground for their stealing of the election.
Shut yo mouth, xina!
Several are correct here ... plans are being set in place to steal the election.
