Deposin’ Palin

posted by on October 22 at 11:13 AM

She’s a piece of work, huh?

Gov. Sarah Palin, already found by one investigation to have abused her power, will take time from her vice presidential campaign Friday to give a deposition in a second inquiry into her firing of the state’s top public safety official.

It will be the first deposition in the affair by the Republican vice presidential candidate. Palin wasn’t subpoenaed to answer questions in an investigation by the state Legislature, though her husband, Todd, gave an affidavit in that probe.

I have a hunch that Larry Flynt has a sequel in the works: Probing Palin.

Prison orange is a colour that would look good on ex-trooper Mike Wooten, who, according to sworn testimony, threatened to kill his wife, brandished a gun at her, and beat her up, dislocating her shoulder. He also had a habit of bullying his children. He's admitted to tasering his 11-year-old son 'to teach him a lesson,' and it sounds very much like he threatened to kill not only his wife but her father, who's also Mrs Palin's father. Is it any wonder that she put some pressure on Walt Monegan to fire him? What possible reason Mr Monegan had for wanting to let this guy stay on as a cop is something I'll leave to "Troopergate" junkies.
