Shut the fuck up, Erica. God you're raging with jealousy. And you need to do some serious re-wording here. You don't make any goddamn sense.
And THAT would be why I canceled my Seattle Times subscription yesterday, at long last. Between this, the Rossi "endorsement" and the Burner smears, the Times has lost any semblance of credibility. I'd rather make Sunday's New York Times all week long than support a dying home town newspaper that publishes biased bullshit like that.

He formed a committee and Luke Esser was personally grooming him for the job. In March. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Another good tidbit from these articles: Rossi went to rallies in support of Sarah Palin *TWICE*.
I must have really misread that article, because I thought it was paraphrasing Rossi's views, not endorsing them.
In case you're lazy: "Rossi, whose mother was a half-Tlingit Alaskan, also campaigned for that state's new Republican Gov. Sarah Palin last year. He is addressing a GOP dinner in Ketchikan this month and has spoken at Republican functions in Juneau and Anchorage as well as Wisconsin and Oregon."
I expect to see more on this in the UW Daily ...
By the way, the governor will be there Monday at 3.
Perhaps you glossed over the phrases where he attributes the opinions:
"To Rossi and his supporters", "they note", "Republicans point out", etc.
You're too busy fomenting your outrage to stop for a few seconds and actually understand what's being said.
Trevor @3 - then why provide a link to the article on Lowney's Creek's Initiative for the hypertext loony left?
ECB didn't include the whole Young piece in her post. Read it, I also agree that it's full of contempt for the decision of attnys Lowney and Withey to have Rossi deposed.

ECB, you're poor and have to live with roommates.
Good thing you're pissing in your own pool because you'll never make a living in journalism anyway.
@2 Oh, and no one cares when you cancel a subscription to anything anymore (were you born in the '50s or something?), so sit your sorry ass down, stop puffing out your chest in self-righteous furor and go back to playing pocket-pool on the couch.
...and if Lowney's record is fodder for this story why not also mention the other attorney's (Mike Withey) record as a successful public interest attorney - which Mr. Young himself has written about as it relates to Withey's successful WTO lawsuit costing the city $1 million and winning each of 160 plaintiffs $3 - $10K?

This would have been an easy link to include in Mr. Young's piece but to do so would have undermined the picture he's painting of these guys as the loony left w/no other motivation but to help Gregoire by misusing the courts.
Erica, you continue to impress us all with your consistency. Yes, you ALWAYS peg people wrong.
Ever talked to Bob Young? Did you bother even looking up his phone number on seattletimes.com? Didn't think so.
If you think there's even one Republican-biased reporter at the Times, you are a super-size idiot.
Actually, Jeepers, that's why I tend to avoid the Seattle Times - it's become a Republican rag.
