As if Obama has dished out enough heroics to qualify the treatment he has been receiving. For instance, the children’s choirs nauseating tune extolling the “Almighty Obama” (YouTube that shit). We’re not a tribe; we’re a country primarily comprised of individuals capable of self sufficiency. It’s a dangerous act to raise one man to a place of such high expectations. It’s not fair to Obama, and it’s not fair to American citizens. Barack Obama will never emulate Martin Luther King Jr., and we should not expect him to. We need a leader capable of promoting growth and providing a steadfast defense of our constitutional rights.

And for the record, this is not an attack on this specific piece, or the opinions of the artist. This is simply a critique of the behavior exhibited by a portion of metropolitan democrats belonging to the 18-30 set in Los Angeles. I myself am a 20 year old “artist” who has lived between Seattle and Los Angeles for the entirety of my short life. I’m a sleazy, borderline asshole who uses and abuses the freedom of speech to greatest extent possible. I’m a social liberal, but I do not believe in a nationalized effort towards the annihilation of societal stigma. It’s called evolution, and we’re rapidly approaching a golden era. It needs to be us, and we need to be in control. As US citizens, we’re the greatest enforcers of liberty.
