This creepy drawing of chairs with undulating backs and a mural where nothing has a head reminds me of the interior set design of a Vincent Price horror movie in which everything is revealed at the end to have been just a play. No deaths really happened, nobody actually got hurt. I watched this at an early age, and I think it instilled in me the idea that anything might at any moment be uncovered as false and harmless....
