The AP has dropped and pretense and have included unfiltered quotes from Palin lately.

"Being here with all of you hardworking, very patriotic, um, very, um, pro-America areas of this great nation" was her actual quote according to the 'Biden Mocks Palin...' story on the wire.

Commas for emphasis, I'm sure.

Most of us know Nazis through movie portrayals of them, wherein they are usually depicted as masterminds of evil cunning. Real-life Nazis actually tend to be breathtakingly banal, not-terribly-cunning brutes who happen to be good at feeding pissed-off crowds the kind of easy answers and self-righteous vitriol they long to hear.

If North Carolina goes for Obama would Sarah Palin still consider it pro-America?

It really is too bad Jesse Helms didn't live long enough to see not only a black president but one who received North Carolina's electoral votes. I would have loved to have seen his head explode.

There was a time where all parts of America were pro-American.

Small towns are, sadly, the only places where loyal traditionalists still reside. You won't find any pot smokers or hippies who spit on our brave troops or sexual deviants there.

She was in my town, Lancaster, PA, today. I stood across the street with the Planned Parenthood people and held up my protest sign. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life.

Pro-America huh? Well, I guess since Palin and the rest of the real Americans don't want anti-american states then we don't want to support your economy. I guess we can collectively just stop spending money on non-essential items like cars and other things and then crash your economy. Good luck with stimulating your economy. Maybe you real americans can each spend double your disposable income to stimulate your economy. When your car dealerships, retail stores, and other places start claiming bankruptcies and you come begging to us to buy I suspect most of us will say screw you until you offer really big rebates. Maybe your big mouths and your one sentence ideologies will result in people opening their wallets. not.
