Srsly - every summer people bitch about how 'summer never happened' in Seattle. What the fuck? I was outside running, biking, walking or doing SOMEthing almost every day this summer. I bike or walk to work every day and I wore a raincoat maybe 3 times.
I had more outdoors time this summer than any summer past.
I'm w/ #6 - you live here - don't bitch about what you've chosen.
@13 - Yeah, I don't know, I've got a pretty decent tan. I spent an awful lot of time floating in Lake Washington and getting my hiking boots dirty and my life jacket salty. The weather can't have been all bad.
But this last stretch of sun is glorious, though. :D

Sorry Dan, I believe it's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon and a bit after that as well.
One should view that photo while listening to Sarah Palin play the flute.
Ask DJ how he feels about having summer while in school.
Not forgiven. Not Not Not.

"Forgiven" my ass. Welcome to the PNW. Love it or lump it.
No, it was too dark to skateboard home at 8 tonight.
I miss my summer.
Dude, is that Russia I see in the background? Hey, I can see Russia from my house!!!!! oh, no, wait. That's a ferry.
Shit-what about behind that? Is that Russia? it IS!!
September and October are almost always nicer in Seattle than the summer months. The days are just shorter.
Feels good. I bet a billion dollars we're not quite done yet.
September IS a summer month, Bauhaus. But you're right; this is the way it always is here. Rain all June, Beautiful October.
This view looks very familiar from the isthmus in Madison, Wisconsin - minus the ferry boat,of course
