Hooray for the election...

Let's hope the "NEW" president who's Cabinet won't be or support the same repressive domestic and foreign policies has a real good time "getting it on" in the WHITE HOUSE.

On the other side of the country....

Here in "T(his)" Washington... we, as citizens will be dealing with that aftermath...

( literally the figures of the added cost of building detention centers for deportation and interrogation networks)

of a failed CONTRACT WITH AMERICA....

Has any body asked NEWT gingrich... ther house speaker who helped Karl Rove give The SUPREME COURT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA it's gloriously striped robe, why he is called NEWT?

Is it because he isn't SIR ISSAC NEWTON????

I am admittedly grumpy today... probobly because I tried to load in ADAM SMITH, Democrat into my e-mail and it wouldn't take it....

perhaps because the failed contaminent policy of CHENEY, BUSH 1&2 & JR. & JEBBY have left us with GEOCORP and a INDUSTRIAL PRISON COMPLEX that would rather you go shopping for cheap replaceable knock me up toys ( and by that I mean did you hear the one about my dead fred red pen holder yet?

Lot's of federal money makers know how to take advantage of a hot spot on the sun before "your" political ranting is done with the working days sum....

so go ahead and enjoy your college pro painters and the next millinium.... party like it's anything but 1999... cause I am going for broke.....

Adam Smith Democrat,

you sir should explain what your going to do about WI-FI on the brain, dentention policies for citizens under duress....

and why you should'nt be kicked out of congress
if you understood internment camps in world war 2, yet aloow detention centers in your district to run project x-ray through the wires of the braille library system.

p.s.,

I think the day my former employer and the hospital agreed to put the interest of INTERNATIONAL STOCKS, HOSPITALS, PHARMACY/DRUG MAKERS AND LAWYERS ahead of my civil rights and citizenship is the day they declared war on my childrens birth rights and my ancestors soveriegnty.

Overheard today:

"Rather'd there be a n*gg*r in the office that 4 more years of being fucked."

Not sure how I feel about that statement.

I attended some group therapy session a few weeks ago focusing on Aaron Beck's famous Cognitive Therapy principles. It was (kind of) lame - supportive people are fine, but actually seeming happy? Heck, I went cause I fight Depression.

On topic, the session point was made that we (the depressed) might benefit from avoiding the 'Would Could Should' trap. And that is my critique of this poster advertisement.
I Absolutely Do Not Give A Shit If I Am Alone On Election Night.

#3 Don't feel sad, vote for Obama with a smile. That some asswipe used "N.i.g.g.e.r." (gotta get past the censor to make my point) and thought is was a joke or some sick endorsement shows how far some people in America have to go to get to the promised land.

@3, I welcome every vote for the right man, regardless of the motivation. These people are taking their first baby steps outside the racist paradigm they've lived in forever -- accept, accept, accept.

Hello Sloggers. My name is Helene Alice Grayson, and I am a performance artist. I have been posting under the monicker "Lord Basil" for the past few weeks to test material for my new one woman show which seeks to explore right wing extremism as a metaphor for the dearth of children's after school theatre programs. I culled numerous right wing message boards to find bizarre anti-Barack Obama conspiracy theories, and adapted them to my conversation. Sorry to be so covert, but I wanted a visceral and truthful reaction.

Thank you all for reading my words. In closing, I just want to say that I believe my play will stop the war in Afghanistan, and to symbolize my solidarity with feminists the world over, I will be performing my show wearing only my panties.

If anything, that's even dumber than the usual verbal diarrhea from Lord Basil.

You know what would really help the kids, @12? If you would violate yourself onstage with a whiffle ball bat. *And* it would end the war in Afghanistan.

But, what will Panama-born closet-Marxist church-avoiding Senator McCain do?

Will he rest up at one of his 7 or 13 homes and tour around in his 20-some cars?
