The word of the day at Urban Dictionary

Coincidence? Dunno. I do know, though, that Dan and Terry’s baby is almost 11 now, and we never once used the term “gaybie” to describe him…

Awe. Some. But I've never said gaybie, and I never will. It sounds like a disease. Ew.

"Dan and Terry" - funny! I first heard the word on a Kathy Griffin TV show, probably taped last year or longer ago. She'd been hired to do a routine at a Caribbean resort rented by one of those gay-only vacation outfits. She did a joke about how her gay friends were getting older and tired of circuit parties, so they were all getting "gaybies" in a mad, fad rush. Her jokes completely tanked with the prosperous homos, like she'd shit on the flag or something.

That's as bad as the term "glamping", which is overpriced fancy fake camping.

Grounds for justifiable homicide, I'd say.

I dunno...I never heard Kathy Griffin's thing. I thought I had made up the word when my husband's friend started "baking" gaybies for her bosses.

I'm pretty sure "gaybies" was used on 30 Rock.

I thought gaybies were my sperm.

It was coined on the Stephanie Miller show. The producer was going to a gay baby shower, and they decided it needed it's own term.

As someone named Gabe, I'm really not sure I'm comfortable with this.
