I just posted this in another thread, but between this video and that photo, there is something very disturbing about this man's health. This really worries me, not just for the larger ramifications for our country, but also just out of genuine concern for his well-being. He looks really bad.

I can imagine Dick Cheney in the President's office right now suggesting that the election itself be suspended because it will be too distracting during this emergency.

Why does the McCain video loop? Is there supposed to be a Q&A segment that's somehow been cut, or is it supposed to show twice?

I LOVE that Obama answers questions. I find it depressing that I'm so excited by a politician actually addressing a member of the press--but I am, actually excited.

Oh--re: the concerns of the election being cancelled. That can't really happen, can it? Can it?

@1 - it's a long campaign, and mccain looks worn out. The man would look like Emperor Palpatine by 2012.

You know that scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when the bad guy drinks out of the wrong grail? I feel like I'm watching that.

Re: McCain's appearance -- Will this country want to actually watch a man get older before their eyes on a daily basis?

I've come to the conclusion that McPalin looks like nothing less than a large, shriveled up testicle.

Which would explain the fact that - HE'S NUTS!

Forget watching him grow older, he might actually DIE in front of us.

Answering the question - who looks more presidential?

I hate to say anything, because I'm a lifelong Democrat and strong Obama supporter, but having seen the first 30 seconds of both, I think that John McCain looks more presidential.

Obama looks like press secretary - reading from notes, etc. McCain is starting to sound eerily like Ronald Reagan.

Yes, Obama makes more sense, has principles, answers questions, etc, but McCain, albiet not pleasant to look at, does *look* more presidential.

@12, I agree... McCain is the guy that if I had no idea what was going on in the race and someone showed me a picture of each of them, I wouldn't say "err.. what? *That* guy is running for *president*?"

I love Obama and I'm going to vote for him, but McCain is the one who looks more "presidential", at least in the traditional sense.

@12 and @16: That's only because we are only used to older, white men as President. This is a new day.

Frankly, I think it's a garbage question.

We won't support spine-less NO-Bama and will re-defeat him in November !! Go Hillary 2012 !!

Sigh, clintonsarmy, please go and die in fire. KTHXBY!

While we're more use to the old white guy look of presidents, I'm all for Obama and have been since I first heard him talk in 2004. I can't wait for the debate and I hope that Obama smacks McCain like the proverbial red headed step child.

Yeah, he's not feeling well. Tired? Neurologically impaired? Who knows. But if we (and by "we" I mean the dumbfucks who infest the middle of the country) elect this guy, we're actually electing Palin. Meaning, we're actually electing whomever is holding her puppet strings. SCARY.
