Although, every time I hear politicians go on about Americans who work hard and earn their own money, playing by the rules and teaching their kids the value of a honest day's work, I feel kind of left out.

Not every voter works hard or works during every single hour that we cash our paychecks for. Some voters teach our kids that work is for the birds. Especially the hard kind. It's like, a tradition of values passed down through generations. I know they want my vote but they have a funny way of showing it.

I liked her tone.

But.... all just for a "commission"?

Pelosi is the Speaker of the House. Different members of the Majority party take over the day-to-day tasks of the House Floor, and that individual is called the Speaker as well, think of it as "Speaker for a day"

The same thing happens in the Senate, the Senator that presides over the business on the floor, the Senate President, is called Mr/Madame President.
