Recent Obama ad very good, linking wall st. problems to health care. It was negative on McCain, which is fine, although I wish Obama would link the two things positively, for example "yes America we need the bail out but when I'm in office we're going to enact my health care plan in the first 100 days. If we can save Wall St. we can save Americans who lack health care" etc.

I also hope in this "foreign policy" debate he immediately pivots to the cost of the war/irresponsbility and ties foreign policy to the strength of our economy blaming GWB and GOP world view which is really one of greed and irresponsibility all around, and not patriotic at all.

why not set up a pool on how many minutes it takes each candidate to pivot to current economic crisis?

i'm there is enough interest to make future slog debate gathering at a bar (spitfire or something) if you can get it going. you can charge for these ones, we won't mind.

Just don't fuck it up the way you did during the Sarah Palin speech at the RNC.

Do tell about this drinking game. What are some ground rules?

I don't know about you all, but I'm planning on taking a drink every time a Republican says something horrifying. That's a bit broad, but it works for me.

Everytime Johnny says "my friends" "POW" or mentions a personal vietnam reference, take a drink
