"Whoops -- the link you followed is not correct. Please go to PBS.org to find the correct link."

Perhaps you need some help from the tech-savvy, at-risk youth.

I love whack-a-moling Palin as much as the next sane person but maybe check your linkage, sir.

Wow, I wonder what pro-Palin site is pointing to this poll to push her "yes" votes to 50%?

Could I just mention to you, in a moment of seriousness, that I spent five-and-a-half years in a prison cell, and missed out on a lot of important technological developments. It's my understanding that there are now things called "internets" that allow you to send notes and get information on current events. I'm glad that you included the internet in this letter, which is the kind of thing we need in today's dialogue, but it doesn't seem to be cooperating. I may be doing it wrong, but I spent those five-and-a-half years in prison because I love this country, not because I was hoping for easy technological answers when I got out. Could your staff look into it and get back to me? Thank you friends.

Update: The Obama campaign donors who hang out on PBS.org have narrowly stated (so far) that they believe Palin IS qualified to be VP by a margin of 50% to 48%. Did I read that right?

PS w7ngman 4 prez 4 ever

At present count half of the polled find her qualified. Either the public sets a low bar for vice-presidents or the right-wing is taking over PBS. Come to think of it, the PBS demographic is something like 50 years and up.

I hate election year - this is the sixth time someone's forwarded me this stupid fucking non-scientific poll that has no bearing on the actual opinions of the nation or the outcome of the election. I'm sure it's refreshing to click on your opinion multiple times, but it's about as effective as a bumper sticker, and without the financial contribution.

Did you see what percentage said "yes"??? 50%! Who are these people?!

According to the emails I'm getting about this poll, right-wing websites are directing their readers to the PBS poll, and they're gaming it. So game it back, Sloggers.

I was one of the Tippers on this, and before the Righties started their email campaign to "save" Palin, the results were 66% AGAINST her.

You can vote multiple times by closing your browser window and reopening it.

Anyone just not give a shit and want to vote for McCain Palin just for the total entertainment of what they would do to the country? Seriously, how often do people live while the once most powerful nations descends into total obscurity?

I kind of doubt the results of a Web site poll is going to affect ANYTHING ANYWHERE. It's the only thing LESS effective than an internet petition.

If McCain/Palin win, at least The Daily Show writers will have another 4 years of letting an administration do most of their work for them.

Of course she's qualified:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

The question is, is McCain qualified? He wasn't born here...

God.

Savage can't be bothered to spell check, can't be bothered to include all words in his posts, can't be bothered to remember to include his little green box thingy in the upper left tagging his posts with a theme, and can't be bothered to get the links right.

Continually.

I was the only "not sure" on the "here" poll....

as I left my Ballot for 2008 President with
The Stranger and want my artisic freedom to be unencumbered by politics and repetetive affair syndrome investigations by heavy handed

FEDERAL INVESTIGATION MONEY LAUNDERING PLATFORMS DESGUISED AS NATIONAL CONVENTION WHERE KEY OPPONENTS CHANGE FROM DEMOCRAT TO REPUBLICAN OR VICE VERSA FOR THE BENEFIT OF APPOINTMENTS TO FEDERAL BENCHES!

@9 I just voted, it's now 3:55, and it's still 50% to 40% believe she WOULD be a good VP. WTF?

4:45 PST, Yes for Palin: 50%, No: 48%, Not sure: 0%. That doesn't add up.

@21

Seriously, shut the fuck up. Do errors on a blog upset you that much? Are they really worth complaining about? How 'bout you go off and make your own site, free of all the errors here you find so troublesome.
