Spitfire will be the place to be, 2 rooms, tons of TV's, Volume thru the house speakers and plenty of people to watch and mingle with. I hear the Govenor might be there, (again)to watch with her community and supporters. Spitfire will be having a fundraiser for Gregoire on the 7th debates which she will also be attending...

Riddle me this :

This is a debate between two men who are vying to become the president of a nation which is in pretty shaky shape at the moment. It would seem that the things they have to say, and the ability to concentrate on those things, would, or should, be rather high on the importance scale.

This being the case, can someone tell me why anyone whose main concern should be finding a place to be able to drink, party and blog during it should be taken even remotely seriously in any way?

I think I've convinced Merchant's Cafe to show it on their big tvs in the downstairs room during the happy hour I arranged for a bunch of singles at work happens in the bar!

I'll be up at 0200 here in Hamburg, DE to watch Gramps act like a total idiot. I'm sure the moderator will be over-deferential, and Obama will be hemmed in by whatever cloying format is imposed, but it will still be embarassing for our favorite POW.

And it won't matter, because the kind of idiots who like Palin are not exactly tuned into reasoned discourse.

The Spitfire was so packed that even if you showed up early, there was a line to get in, and not everyone could get in.
