Hmm. Hate to say this, but hopefully they don't find bin Laden before the election. That could be unfortunate timing.

I can't think of anything nastier than Tomato Jam. Maybe Vegemite? No. Not even that.

Ah, so McCain believes Palin is a prophet of God. THAT's not dangerous at all.

I hate Sarah Palin as much as the next person, but can we agree that cuckolding your boss's family friend is a bad idea? Especially when your boss is an evangelical whack job?

strangely enough, Al Qaeda ALSO thinks Yahweh/God/Allah wants them to defeat America in Afganistan & Iraq. perhaps God should appear & settle the dispute.

God? I'm waiting...

Oh, Mr. Poe. Vegemite is lovely stuff. Marmite too. I'm having a little smear now.

Paraphrase quibbles:

God wants the US to win the war in Iraq

is not the same as
the Iraq War Is a Task 'From God.'

which itself misrepresents as a factual claim what was actually a wish:
Pray ... that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God

Can we please stick to legitimate lines of attack?  Really, there's no shortage of material to choose from.

Here's the news I really want to know, does anybody else think somebody was manipulating the stock market the last few days? On Monday it was way up because of the Fannie/Freddie takeover. On Tuesday it plunged because of Lehman news. I know manipulation goes on all the time, but the timing of the Lehman news seemed deliberate to me. Of course I could be descending into crazy whacko conspiracy theory nutjob here...

How/where/why would someone use tomato jam??

No, I was wondering about the whole stock market thing myself. A friend was thinking of selling some microsoft shares, but stock had gone down down significantly- with no reason. I tried to goggle a reason to no avail. Yes, I love the irony:)

Not that anyone is still reading here, but I feel the need to go further with my stock market manipulation assertions and point out the robots vs. UAL story:
