the present context is silly, but, going back a few years in the middle of the Death Furnace of the AIDS Pandemic that was on the lips of many, many gay men and lesbian sisters. Yes, here in old friendly and cozy Seattle.(even Dan was involved in ACT-UP)
Reagan did NOTHING and the anger was hanging in the air as most every body you knew died.
So why support either candidate who both want to increase the size of our government and its powers? Why can't we hold citizens accountable? You know, the ones that vote these scumbags into office. Too brainwashed by mass media and coping with debt to stop and think that NO ONE IS ELECTABLE this coming term!
Can someone please explain to me why sometimes there are comments on the Slog from what I presume to be homosexuals, and they sound so hopelessly bitter. How'd that happen?
I find it shocking and unacceptable that Sarah Palin stayed in that marriage for twenty years - and refuses to leave her husband - when such outrageous things are said about America!!!
(Oh, wait a minute. It was a white guy who said it. I guess it's OK then. Never mind...)
