Sunday Morning Football Post!

It’s Sunday and unless you’ve got Sunday Ticket, prepare to be bored. The only game on this morning is the bound-to-be-lopsided Bengals/Giants matchup. Zzzzzz.

The “Hawks host the Rams at 1, which should be good for a W before we head into our much-needed bye week. Koren Robinson is a Seahawk again but might not play today because of knee troubles. We’ll see.

Sorry I didn’t post a wrap-up this week, but here are the current standings in the All-Slog 2008 Fantasy Football Thunderdome League of Champions™:

1. Slogaholics 2-0-0 2. Green Giants 2-0-0 3. The Tight Ends 2-0-0 4. Rightwing Feminists 1-1-0 5. The Ahmadinejad Show 1-1-0 6. Evergreen Stoners 1-1-0 7. Hass’s Thunderbolts 1-1-0 8. Hochuli’s Guns 1-1-0 9. New Orleans Taints 1-1-0 10. Bwee&Gwee’s Dingbats 0-2-0 11. Hasselbecks Hairline 0-2-0 12. worst team ever. 0-2-0

Predictions, kvetching, etc. in the comments.

Thanks to Grant for the video.

In Fantasy world, I predict that my Tight Ends will get slaughtered by the Rightwing Feminists.

You have to believe this was intended to be a joke, but there was one sober guy around the table that night who took the idea and "rammed it" thinking his buddies were serious.

Shockingly the Giants Bengals is turning out to be a pretty good game. Tied at 13/13 in the 4th.

It has a Village People feel to it. Gay with out the obvious overtones.

What is up with all the Seahawks lime green stuff? Is it new, or did I block the horror of neon lime green from previous years?

Hey, don't boo Josh Brown, the Seahawks could've kept him if they'd put up the money.

@ 11 - it's been part of the color scheme for a while, I think since the last redesign.

That's two weeks in a row with a solid running game from the Seahawks. This bodes well for when Branch and Engram return to the lineup.

I was able to visualize about One Minute 43 seconds on the Ram It!! you-tube... way to go Jackie!!!

That's a whole lot of fantasy for you football enthusiasts allright...

Somday in the future if I don't die form heart failure first... I may take my whole paycheck to the Blue Moon and get really really drunk on the roar of the crowd by NOT GETTING OVER SERVED by Gus and The Bar.

Go Seahawks!

Man, that Giants/Bengals game turned out to be a real snoozefest, as predicted.

anyone who predicts any game in football to be boring before it has been played clearly does not understand the sport.

and sargon bighorn@8, that was pretty obviously written and directed by a team of extremely gay men.

Every time we lose I just bake something football shaped. It helps.

"Snoozefest":@mindbender 17

Come on. Overtime! First time this season the Giants opponents scored in the first quarter! If you were hoping to see a blowout, sure it was a snoozefest. If you were hoping to see the Bengals finally play some pro football is was a great game. And considering the Bengals defensive backfield is decimated I thin they did great. Granted, I am a longtime, die hard Bengals fan.
