HELLO! Can we stop obsessing with Palin on Slog for one minute to acknowledge that the BAIL-OUT FAILED TO PASS IN THE HOUSE. THE STOCK MARKET IS FREE FALLING.

Yeah, what @1 said. Holy shit. I guess it's a steady diet of dog food for my retirement.

Oh shit! Palin said something I kind of agree with. I think the U.S. should support democratic movements, even when the short-term results aren't in our favor. Gosh, if this keeps up, I might have to reconsider my disdain for her.

So what should Hamas do after it was us who demanded elections? The problem is intransigence on both sides. It leads from one disaster to another. From one retaliation to another. And with the terrible leadership we have in the White House, it only gets worse. That is what McCain and Palin offer. More intransigence.

Wait, and this is supposed to be a bad thing? Whether by intent or accident, Sarah Palin has just said the single most intelligent thing about Israel and Palestine to pass the lips of any American politician in the last 30 years, minimum.

If I thought for a second she meant it, I'd be faced with the terrifying prospect of voting Republican.
