And she worked to get her ex-brother-in-law fired, too. Good job!

Does she realize the VP doesn't have a Veto?

And speaking of wasteful spending - why hasn't she sent the money back from the funds for the Bridge to Nowhere yet?

It may be the Republican drinking game, but I just have to say that Palin's politics make me want to vomit, but I'd shag her six ways from Sunday and leave late the next day. No, it's definitely the drinking game. I should have never chosen the word "liberal". But I'd still do her.

I'm worried. I think she's working that that approachability and down-home factor that made people like Dubya... which is exactly where Obama can fall down on the job. I hope I'm wrong, though.

I don't like her but she's a fighter and willing and able to challenge the Dems. She obviously has lots of weak spots but the Republicans know how to lie and cheat when it comes down to the wire so she might actually be able to strenghthen the ticket. On the other hand, it could be considered a terrible mistake adding credibility to the argument that McCain has poor judgment. The main point is to turn on the heat and make sure this is not a close race in early November.

She's so fucking BAD.
The Obama attack was disgusting and unnecessary, also.
Mayor of 8000 people has actual responsibility, community organizer doesn't?
She should work on her strengths instead of trying to show she's better than Obama. At anything.

Posted by Mr Fuzzy | September 3, 2008 7:56 PM

Man, she's landing solid punches on Obama--unlike a community organizer, serving in Alaska actually had "responsibilities." But I wonder how her hits and the crowd's hoots will stick after he graciously let her off the hook. She seems desperately bloodthirsty.

She will reform the constitution to ban abortion for rape victims, reform the evil jews so they don't burn in hell. In other words, she's not a reformer, she's full of shit, just like the Republican Party. You will lose in Nov and she will be blamed. I'd invite her to make her speech on the South Side of Chicago, where there are more unemployed people than who live in the town she was Mayor of. You know, the place where Barack Obama tried to help a disaffected population without the benefit of a money pipeline from Washington, courtesy of Ted Stevens, or where the citizenry didn't get $1,000 checks each year courtesy of oil companies.

Let's see the Ice Weasel belittle community organization in Pittsburgh, or Baltimore, or Oakland, or Atlanta, or DC, Atlanta, Tallahassee, New Orleans, or any major metropolitan area suffering from industrial decay, unemployment and massive foreclosures.

The Democrats--I hope, deliciously, in the person of Joe Biden with an assist from Obama--are going to disassemble this reactionary hack and ship her back to Anchorage in a box.

We haven't lost a goddamn thing. Not by a long shot. If you think we've lost it because of this ratty, vagina sporting carbon copy of Dick Cheney, shut your fucking mouth an open your checkbook.

leek @109,

You're right, your approach is better. Well done!

Great, so the Laughing Man @86 has his post go through, but all of mine get stopped somewhere in transit.

Palin may have had some tough zingers, but she's going to need a lot more than that for the debates. I predict she will greatly regret all those hits about "experience" sometime during the VP debates.

Everything she said tonight is prime fodder for attack ads, ESPECIALLY all her hot air about saying "no thanks" to the Gravina Island bridge. Lies said with a straight face are still lies, and I will cherish watching each one of them get thrown back in her teeth.

Huh. Despite what others are saying, I didn't think she was that good. She sounded stiff and rehearsed, and it definitely looked like she was reading off a teleprompter.

Whoever said that the baby Trig should be home in bed, right on. Poor little guy looks tired!
