onFrom a press release sent to us:
Atlanta, GA – Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party nominee for president, has invited GOP Congressman Ron Paul to be his running mate in the upcoming election. In a letter sent to Paul, Barr called Paul one of the “few American patriots” who exist in today’s society, and asked him to “seriously consider this final offer as an opportunity to show true, lasting leadership beyond party politics.”
You can read it here.
Of course, on Barr’s website, he already has a vice president:
But it’s understandable. If I were the Libertarian candidate, I’d give up poor Mr. Root for all those Paulite votes, too.

The GOP has a Nader of their own now. HA!
NA-DER! NA-DER! NA-DER! ... errr ... I mean .... Hell, you know what I mean!
This is the best news in ages.
I posted this yesterday, but it bears repeating:
Disgruntled conservatives are FAR more likely to be swayed to vote Libertarian than to vote for Obama. Please organize and campaign accordingly.
We just need to face this:
Obama will lose, he's Kerry part 2.
The republicans are just much better than the democratics are this game.
Much much better.
Andrew, we don't need your pessimism. Obama is not Kerry, which should be plainly obvious by now.
Barr only needed Root's to get the LP nomination, and now that he has it he's willing to throw his crazy ass to the side of the road. Hilarious.
