Palin's personality reminds me of Nicole Kidman's aspiring anchorwoman in To Die For. But when I think of her term as mayor of a backwoods small town, her political approach brings to mind America's archetypal small-town mayor: Boss Hogg.

Please vote for our guy. Our plan to bring change to America and fix wall street is to laugh at the backwoods people. Ha, ha, hyuk hyuk.
We're so sure we're going to win VA and IN and OH and MI we can afford to laugh at people who might vote for our guy if given a good reason.
Who cares if we lose that slice of the swing voters -- they're so dumb!!
Fortunately, they don't ever realize what's on liberal blogs around the USA -- they're so dumb, they don't realize we make fun of them!!!!
I keep thinking Palin reminds me of Rita Skeeter (The Harry Potter "reporter") and her ruthless disregard for facts, willingness to say anything for the sake of a good interview and refusal to acknowledge she ever less than honest.

that is awesome, tho i love peggy hill. however, every word i hear about palin makes me nervous that it's not a word against mccain. i'm so stressed out at the diversion tactic. i think we should all ignore the palin thing and let SNL take care of her. we need to go after the old man.
I think what PC really needs to do is create some sort of snark-free (perhaps semi-centrist) respectful political forum. Presumably not ad-funded.
You could call it something like "Common Ways" or "Learing Together" or "Bridging Gaps" or "Respectful Differences" or "Read This Liberal Blog Non-Liberal-Person Because it's a Good Place for You To Become More Liberal"
PC already blogs, at noquarter.net. It is indeed the most respectful, positive, solution-oriented place to go in-depth on stories about Rev. Wright, the mythical "whitey" video, and that "terrorist fist bump." It's classy. Fuckin' classy as fuck.
