Um, you know, you COULD avoid giving this bad artist exposure by not putting his work up on Slog. There's a ton of really terrible art out there, as any trip to Goodwill or drive around exurban highways will attest. You don't need to show us everything.
Now that Wall Street is going down, so do the "artists" who serve them. Selling high priced Democrat kitsch passed off as art no longer cuts it for Americans.
TAMPA, Fla.: Republican presidential candidate John McCain says Wall Street's financial turmoil is the result of unchecked corporate greed.
The Republican says government must protect the public from investment schemes too complex for people to understand or regulate.
McCain told a crowd of several thousand at a rally Tuesday in Tampa, Florida, that people have the right to know when their jobs and pensions and the entire economy are, in his words, "being put at risk by recklessness on Wall Street."

I agree that it's terribly executed. But I would like to know how this person is an opportunist? Are they actually making money off that painting? It's not like people are buying lots of art these days. Isn't it more likely that the artist is just another scared Obama fan who feels helpless and needs to feel they are using their skills to support him? (Even if they need to keep working on the skills.)

He looks like he's about to sneeze from the polution in the background.
He looks sleepy.
He looks, well, how to say,,,,a little too gay. But really, it does not look like Obama at all.
Even the tie sucks.

is that gregory hines @13?
God, that's dreadful. It looks like there's a nuke going off behind him, and those buildings look like something off a poster for 'Dawn of the Dead'.
Jen,
If the "One" had his hands covering his ears, the painting would resemble Evard Munch's "The Scream" especially with that lurid backdrop.
@2:
I think it's those preternaturally long eyelashes that give it that effect.
Akhenaten-y.
Barakhenaten.
Tel-el-Obamarna.
Are there any other jokes to be made here?
What is wrong with you people? This is frickin' awesome. Reaching out for the "end of days" vote.
Obama as the last man on earth, kind of like the Omega Man. Unfortunately it's the crappy Will Smith version and not the kick ass Chuck Heston one

But I love Will Smith!
Where can I buy the shirt?
Needs to lose the flag pin, make the tie knot about twice as wide, and generally tone down the suck.
