Nothing to See Here

Ratings, like reality, have a liberal bias

Nielsen Co. estimated this afternoon that about 20.7 million people watched the convention on Tuesday—its first full evening after a truncated program on Monday because of Hurricane Gustav—on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX News Channel, and MSNBC.

That was 4.3 million viewers lower than the Democratic National Convention last Tuesday…. More significantly, the GOP number was 600,000 lower than Day 2 of the 2004 convention, which lacked much drama since it was the renomination of President Bush.

When will you learn? EVERYTHING has a liberal bias.

It's how the GOP and the Christians keep up their "underdog" mantra.

on the Seattle Times feed. Would I be on the Neilsen rating? Nope.

Reality hates Republicans.

It's a fact.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not recall ABC, NBC, or CBS carrying anything of the first 3 days of the Dems' convention, just the last day with the Obama speech. I did see days 1-3 on cable networks. Anyone know if this was the case? If it was, then how much more ironic it is that the GOP rates much less even with more network coverage.
I'm guessing, however, that tonight will rate high, because people have a morbid fascination with Palin.

The fact that huge numbers of people are without power (over 50,000 in ONE REGION in north Louisiana) due to Gustav probably has nothing to do with that, I'm sure.
