Comment by P to the J

Anti-Semitic attacks? Duh. As long as the British guv keeps kowtowing to extremist muslims, there is less to fear legally. You can't blame all of this one on the old skinhead this time. They are still around, but with all the anti-Jew sentiment being spread in mosques, is this a surprise? Listen to Pat Condell on his YouTube channel for info on what is really going on in England.

Comment by Julie in Chicago

On the overturning the ban on endorsements.... absolutely ridiculous. If you are a tax-exempt church, you agreed to certain conditions in exhcange for tax exempt status. One of which being you cannot endorse a political candidate.

It's very simple -- if these folks want to endorse their candidate, all they have to do is give up tax exempt status (one of the implications of which is that donations to them will not be tax deductible).

You can't have it both ways...

"Out: WaMu CEO Kerry Killinger, on the heels of plummeting stock prices and losses from bad mortgages."

It's about fucking time! (Even though he will walk with about $28 million in compensation)

"God’s Law: Evangelicals seek to overturn ban on endorsing from the pulpit."

Exactly what Julie in Chicago said... you can endorse whomever you want when you give up your tax exempt status, fuckers.

"Struggling: Airlines projected to lose $5.2 billion this year."

I've said it once and I'll say it again, all airlines should charge by weight of the passenger and their luggage combined.

"Tell Us What You Really Think: Condoleezza Rice offers “less than hearty endorsement” of Sarah Palin, noting, “she’s a governor of a state here in the United States.”"

I had heard Condi was an Obama fan.

"Hmm: Bush taps McCain’s 2000 finance committee chair to rescue bailed-out mortgage buyer Fannie Mae."

Pay attention folks, this is the moment when China completed it's purchase of America.

"That Little Old Lady Must Have Provoked Those Dogs Somehow: Elderly woman mauled by pit bulls in SeaTac."

Sarah Palin was in SeaTac?
