I'm glad Lori Anderson sounds like she has a brain in her head. It doesn't matter what it's FOR; it matters if it came out of a campaign fund. The more I hear from these dueling douchebags, the more I want them both to go away. But if I had to pick, Pollet is douchier. Fortunately I don't have to pick; I'm in the 36th, with two entirely different bags to choose from.

Man, Pollet is a whiny bitch.

And FWIW, I love this kind of reporting from the Stranger. While the two "local" papers are content to use their resources reposting AP reports and week old syndications, this is real local news that would otherwise be ignored. Good job Stranger, thank you.

I don't know what happened, but I'm so glad that every ECB post isn't an ECB-bashing thread anymore. It seems like there are a lot more female commenters and most of the ubiquitous misogynists have left, too. YAY, Slog rulez!

@ 5:

That's what happens when she sticks to straight reporting, shows a little journalistic initiative, and doesn't try to shove her agenda down our throats.
